Wisconsin Antique Radio Club Swap Meet
3610 Lexington Ave, Madison, WI 53714

General Meet Information
Street parking is available. There is no charge for admission!

The Gate opens for sellers at 8:00 AM. The flea market starts at 8:30 AM and will end by 11:00AM.

Swap tables are $7 for WARCI members, and $10 for non-members. WARCI does not provide tables, so it is recommended that you bring your own table or tarp for the ground.

In addition to the swap meet, our own Stan Broome will be doing a short talk on WHA at 10AM.  Also, the following Wisconsin-made radios and related items will be on display:

  • Wengel radio, 1920s, made in Madison
  • Radio Service Laboratories, Milwaukee, 1920s Superhet
  • Two different Globe radios, Milwaukee, 1920s,
  • Globe Battery load tester, 1920s
  • Western Coil & Electric radio, Racine, 1920s
  • Historical documents on WHA, 1920s – 1960s
  • Wisconsin School of the Air radio (1950s), and exhibit, and a recorded program

There will also be a few exhibits you can play with, such as a 1924 regenerative 1 tube radio in operating condition, that you can tune!

As typical of most swap meets, the items are for sale by individual collectors, and most are one-of-a-kind. So for best selection (and the best deals), BE EARLY! But please stay around and get to meet some of the club members. These swap meets are a great way to connect with other local collectors that share your interests. By socializing at the meets you can find others that may have what you are looking for, radios & parts, people that can service your radios, and you can make some good friends.
