It is with great sadness that I must announce that Greg Hunolt, former WARCI President, passed away on December 2nd, 2015.
Greg’s passing is a great loss to WARCI and the antique radio community. If you were fortunate enough to join us at our November 8th meeting, we celebrated Greg’s accomplishments by presenting him with the WARCI Leadership Award. Among his accomplishments:
- WARCI President 2010 – 2015
- WARCI News Editor 2009 – 2015
- The Battery Set Compendium (BSC)
- WARCI and ARCIRadiofest Auction Coordinator
Most importantly, Greg was a great friend to many of us both inside and outside of WARCI. He will be sorely missed.
Greg’s obituary is now available online. I encourage you to read it, as it is a nice tribute to Greg:
Following Greg’s wishes, he has been cremated. Friends and relatives are invited to gather at the Suchon Funeral Home, 1317 State Road 67, Plymouth, on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. with a special time to share memories at 7:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, friends may want to make a contribution in Greg’s name to one of his favorite organizations:
