If you haven’t seen Jim Peck’s 2006 interview with Bob Paquette from I Remember, I encourage you to watch it here.

Our own Dennis Schrank wrote an article about Bob Paquette’s Microphone Museum in 2009.

Bob was 88 years old.

  1. Bob did show me many tricks in sound service work since first meeting him in late 1989. He allowed me to visit him in the museum to read thru his library of technical books. Sometimes after work I would visit. Bob, you will be missed

  2. Thank you so much. I had not seen this particular video of Bob before. He was indeed a wonderful man in every way. I had a collection of about 120 Mics but when I first walked into the museum is was overwhelming. He had me bite down on the lever and it was such a strange sensation hearing the music just through your head. I treasure his book. I was lucky to have visited the museum a second time before he passed. He was one of Wisconsin’s true treasures. Thanks again.
